This is a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine ie. Küsten-Artillerie o. Küstenmarine) related breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') being a 'standard-pattern'- and/or machine-embroidered example on a field-grey-coloured (and woolen-based!) background and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The piece - which is of the pattern that was worn on the various field-grey-coloured tunics throughout the war - comes in a very nice condition overall. It is machine-embroidered in golden-yellow-toned linnen and is executed on a typical, field-grey-coloured- (and woolen-based-) background. The piece - that is void of an additionally 'backing' - just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear. This example originated from a small naval breast-eagle-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that this attractive - and moderately used! - WH 'Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie'-related breast-eagle is accordingly priced!
