Attractive, WWI-period: 'Ehrenkreuz für Witwen und Waisen 1914-18' being a nicely preserved and maker- (ie. '2 - R.V. Pforzheim'-) marked example that came mounted onto its period (nicely folded) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt')

This is an attactive example of a WWI-period: 'Ehrenkreuz für Witwen und Waisen 1914-18' (or: specific WWI-cross as given to widows and orphans) being a nicely preserved and neatly maker- (ie. '2 - R.V. Pforzheim'-) marked example that came mounted onto its period (and minimally shortened- and nicely confectioned) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall nicely preserved- (and I deem only minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The attractive (and truly black-coloured) award is a nicely preserved (and iron-based) example that retains all of its somewhat darkened ie. shiny, blackened 'finish' (as can be seen on the pictures) and came together with its period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). The piece is just a tiny bit stained but is neverthelass very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Ehrenkreuz für Witwen und Waisen 1914-18'-medal-set accordingly!
