Attractive, WH (KM) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type, machine-embroidered breast-eagle as executed in darker-blue-coloured- and/or linnen-based material as was specifically intended for usage on the various white-coloured KM-tunics
This is an attractive - and/or truly neatly detailed and actually not that easily found! - example of a machine-embroidered, WH (Kriegsmarine) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine') as was executed in darker-blue-coloured- and/or: typical, linnen-based material as was specifically intended for usage on the various white-coloured KM-tunics and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem never used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. This example - having a 'wingspan' of approximately 10,4 cms. - shows a neatly reinforced border and is nicely machine-embroidered using blue-toned linnen on a white-coloured (and/or: smooth, linnen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). This example just shows some minimal age and/or staining but is void of any damage (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle is void of an additional 'backing' and does show an inked makers'-designation-stamp (as can be noticed on the pcitures). This example originated from a small naval breast-eagle-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive example that can naturally easily be attached to any white-coloured 'Kriegsmarine'-tunic or to be simply kept in any eagles'-collection!
