Attractive - and fully matching! - Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair as piped in the darker-green-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer' who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger-Truppen'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily encountered! - Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard-pair (ie. 'Schulterstücken für Führer der Waffen-SS') as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer' (or: captain) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: mountain-troops) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The attractive shoulderboards - which come mounted onto their functional, smaller-sized tongues - have the somewhat 'sub-dued'- (ie. greyish-silverish-coloured) 'upperdecks' and are executed in black-coloured wool as to be expected. The boards shows the woolen-type, darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10,4 cms. in length each - show both two (darker-golden-toned- albeit tarnished) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer'. The boards - that came with a pair of smaller-sized, field-grey-toned and pebbled-styled tunic-buttons - have most certainly been worn as such and show some moderate age, usage and/or moderate staining. Simply an attractive Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that comes in a desirable branchcolour: I deem that I have priced this neat Waffen-SS-pattern, officers'-type 'Hauptsturmführer'-shoulderboard-pair, accordingly!
