This is a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') being a 'standard-pattern'- and 'BeVo'-woven example on a darker-blue-coloured background and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The piece - which is of the pattern that was worn on the various darker-blue-coloured tunics throughout the war - comes in carefully tunic-removed condition. It is nicely machine-embroidered in golden-yellow-toned linnen and is executed on a typical, darker-blue-coloured- (and linnen-based-) background. The piece - that was clearly fine-trimmed- ie. folded - just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear. This example originated from a small naval breast-eagle-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that this attractive - and moderately used! - WH 'Kriegsmarine'-related breast-eagle is accordingly priced!
