Attractive, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (ie. destroyer war-badge) being a neat 'Buntmetall'- (albeit non-maker-marked-) example that comes in an overall wonderful condition
This is a truly attractive - just minimally used and truly nicely preserved! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (ie. destroyer war-badge) being a neat 'Buntmetall'- (albeit as more often non-maker-marked) example that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only minimally used ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed badge retains most its golden-toned finish and is executed in so-called: 'Buntmetall' (ie. 'Tombak') and has of course a functional and unaltered (horizontally-mounted- and/or typically flute-shaped-) pin and catch in place as to be expected with such a 'high-quality-produced' award. Moreover, does it show the tiny hook in place (intended to firmly attach the award when worn on a tunic). The award was never cleaned nor polished and has truly extraordinary and stunning detail: it is just a bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found. I deem that this example is accordingly priced: it will be very hard to find a nicer and more attractive example for a more interesting price!
