Stunning - and exceedingly rarely encountered! - early-period, SS-related 'tinnie' ie. The silverish-toned - albeit minimally tarnished - peculiar-shaped and early-period, SS-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' is a (typical) non-maker-marked example showing a: 'Totenkopf' and text that simply reads: 'SS-Wintertag des Schwarzen Korps - Königsberg - 4. II 1934' and that comes in an overall nicely preserved and (I deem) only moderately used- ie. worn, condition. The neat 'tinnie' is void of a makers'-designation and is executed in silverish-coloured and (I deem) zinc- (ie. tin-) based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has I deem never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice - and as stated above - somewhat tarnished age-patina). The badge comes mounted onto its functional (long-sized- and copper-toned) pin and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and retains most (ie. all!) of its silver-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a detailed illustration of a 'Totenkopf' and text that reads: 'SS-Wintertag des Schwarzen Korps - Königsberg - 4. II 1934'. I am aware of the high asking-price but I have seen this rare 'tinnie' sell for much more! Simply a neat - and with certainty exceedingly rarely encountered! - regional-issued, SS-related so-called: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is I deem accordingly priced!
