Attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - HJ ('Hitlerjugend') related 'tinnie', being a maker- (ie. 'Paulmann & Crone'-) marked example showing the text: 'Fahnenweihe - Gebiet Ruhr-Niederrhein - Düsseldorf - 11.Okt.1936'
The silverish-toned HJ- (ie.'Hitlerjugend'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silver-coloured, aluminium-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains a fair bit of its greyisj-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a stylised eagle-device with swastika (holding a sword and hammer) surrounded by the text: 'Düsseldorf - 11.Okt.1936 - Fahnenweihe - Gebiet Ruhr-Niederrhein'. The piece - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice somewhat sub-dued age-patina. The tinnie bears a neat makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Paulmann & Crone - Lüdenscheid'. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - 'youth-related' tinnie!
