Interesting medal-set: WH Austrian 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '1 März 1938' being a 'Buntmetall'-based specimen that came mounted onto its (scarcely seen!) red-coloured- and/or Austrian-styled ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt')
This is an attractive - very nicely preserved albeit I deem minimally used! - medal-set: WH Austrian 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '1 März 1938' (or: specific award as was given to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Austria, which started on 1 March 1938) being a non-maker-marked (and I deem typical 'Buntmetall'-based) specimen that onto its (truly scarcely seen!) bright- red-coloured-, trapezoid-folded and/or Austrian-styled ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued- and/or moderately worn-), condition. The specimen is executed in bright silver-toned 'Buntmetall'-based metal and retains an attractive and just minimally 'tarnished' age-patina and has never been cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. Most of its (as stated minimally 'tarnished') silver-coloured finish has been very nicely preserved, giving the medal a very nice and/or detailed appearance (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece was never cleaned nor polished and comes as recently found. Simply an attractive- and unusually encountered example of a: WH Austrian 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '1 März 1938' that will be hard to be upgraded!
