Very attractive - albeit regrettably empty! - WH (Luftwaffe) etui as was intended to store a: 'Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen' (by the maker: 'Friedrich Linden' ie. 'FLL') that is showing the imprinted text: 'Luftwaffen-Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen'

This is neat and desirable item: an attractive and presumably mid- ie. later-war-period- (albeit regrettably empty) WH (Luftwaffe) etui as was intended to store a: 'Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen' (or LW pilots-badge) and that is showing the imprinted golden-toned text: 'Luftwaffen-Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used-), condition. The typical darker-blue- (almost black) coloured etui shows the (fully preserved and/or golden-toned) text: 'Luftwaffen-Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen' on its top (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is nicely preserved and comes in a complete and/or fully functional condition: it just shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. It is lined with (simulated- ie. sprayed) 'velvet'-like carton that clearly shows the imprint of the award it once held. It is of the typical format that was specifically intended to store a: 'Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen' as produced by the maker (ie. Hersteller) named: 'Friedrich Linden'( ie. 'FLL'): various specifications corroborate this. The etui originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. These attractive 'Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen'-etuis can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce' and are not that often offered for sale!
