Unusual, WHW- (ie. 'Winterhilfswerke'-) ie. 'Nat. Sozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen' (or: 'N.S.R.L.') related shooting-contest lapel-pin depicting the typical 'N.S.R.L.'-logo and text that reads: 'WHW - D.Sch.V. - Gau Westfalen 1938'
This is a neat - and with certainty unusually found! - golden-bronze-toned, so-called: WHW- (ie. 'Winterhilfswerke'-) ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen' (or: 'N.S.R.L.' ie. 'Deutsches Schützen Verein') related shooting-contest lapel-pin depicting the typical 'N.S.R.L.'-logo and text that simply reads: 'WHW - D.Sch.V. - Gau Westfalen - 1938' and that comes in a just moderately worn- (albeit fully undamaged and/or truly nicely preserved!), condition. The badge - which shows makers'-designation that reads 'O' on its back comes naturally mounted onto its longer-sized pin (as can be seen on the pictures). It retains a fully undamaged, golden-bronze-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). These attractive lapel-pins were awarded (in similar form and/or model) from 1936 onwards and are actually not that commonly encountered. This attractive - and totally undamaged! - example has an approximate height of only 2,3 cms. and originates from a German private-household: it was never before in collectors'-hands. I deem that I priced this attractive and/or nicely preserved WHW- (ie. 'Winterhilfswerke'-) ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen' (or: 'N.S.R.L.') related shooting-contest lapel-pin!
