This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - greyish-silver-toned- (ie. typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) WH (Luftwaffe) related, commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Verdienstmedaille') that is showing a smaller-sized Iron Cross-symbol and detailed Luftwaffe-type eagle-device coupled with the text: 'Für treue Dienstleistungen im Bereich des Luftgaukommandos Belgien-Nordfrankreich' and that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The neat - medium-sized- and/or regular-weight-piece that shows on the other side a sitting lion surrounded by the text: 'Erhalten bleiben muss die Deutsche Nation' - has an approximate diameter of 4,1 cms. and has pronounced detail as to be expected. It was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat matted) silverish-grey-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and/or stored for decades. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe)-related, table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
