Attractive, 5-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing the ribbons for an: 'EKII.Kl. ', a: 'KvKII.Kl. m. Schw.', an: 'Ost'-medal, a: 'FKK 1914-18 m. Schw.', and a: 'TD Ehrenzeichen der 2. Kl.'

This is an attractive, 5-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross 2nd class), a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) having a golden-toned sword-device attached, a: 'Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' (or: 'Ost'-medal), a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (or: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern') having a golden-toned sword-device attached and a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse' (or: silver-class, loyal-service-medal for 25 yrs. of loyal civil-service) having an unusually seen miniature attached, all ribbons (and 'Auflagen') coming in a wonderful condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is not 'backed' but comes mounted onto a metal-based, 'backing-plate' (as more often). The attached (and very detailed!) devices show some minimal age ie. tarnish but have all been very nicely preserved. This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive and somewhat larger-sized 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an unusual combination: great to decorate almost any WWI (ie. WWII-) tunic!
