Superb, 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Silber' being a luxuriously-styled, non-maker-marked- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based example that comes stored in its generic, period 'LDO'-marked etui as recently found
The truly attractive - and luxuriously-styled! - silver-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Silber') is executed in neat so-called: 'Buntmetall' and shows only moderate usage and/or minimal wear (as can be clearly seen on the pictures). The wound-badge comes naturally mounted onto its fully functional and typically-tin-shaped pin and has a totally unaltered (and functional) catch. The badge is most certainly never cleaned and retains most of its period, silver-toned finish. It only shows some minimal tarnish (and has never been cleaned nor polished). It is - as stated above void of a makers'-designation (something that is more often the case). The bordeaux-red-coloured- (carton-based) 'LDO'-marked - comes also in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used-), condition (it is just somewhat dusty ie. dirty simply caused by years of storage but totally void of any real damage or alike). The etui has a reddish-coloured (simulated 'velvet') interior: this inlay shows a clear imprint of the wound-badge (that was most certainly stored in this manner for decades): moreover does it show a (golden-toned) LDO-designation-stamp on the inside of its lid (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and with certainty desirable, silver-class WB-set that is nowadays not that easy to encounter and that is I deem accordingly priced!
