Attractive - albeit regrettably empty! - typical black-toned etui as was (I deem) specifically produced to store an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) by the maker: 'Klein u. Quenzer A.G.'
This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably empty and/or I deem fairly early-war-period- and/or just moderately used - example of a typical black-toned etui as was (I deem) specifically produced to store an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) by the maker: 'Klein u. Quenzer' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used-), condition. The (typical non-domed-styled) etui comes in an overall nice condition and shows a pristine black-coloured- and/or (simulated) velvet-based (and beige-toned) 'inner-section' and (almost) fully preserved silver-coloured IC-symbol on its top. The etui shows some regular age and or staining but is of course fully functional. Simply an attractive - and scarcely seen! - etui that can excellenty be used to store an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) by the maker: 'Klein u. Quenzer A.G' (ie. 'Hersteller 65') and was never before in any collection and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
