This is neat silver-toned- and I deem typical 'Buntmetall'-based, so-called: TR-period shooting-award-plaque (or: 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') that is showing a detailed illustration of an aiming WH (Heeres) soldier wearing a steel-helmet and and that comes stored in its period (greyish-silver-toned- and carton-based) etui as issued and/or stored for decades. The neat - medium-sized and/or regular-weight-piece - has an approximate diameter of 4,2 cms. and has very pronounced detail as to be expected. The neat piece was never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a very attractive (truly frosted- and/or minimally tarnished) silver-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - which is void of any text nor makers'-designation - originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
