Superb - and never before seen and surely rarely found! - specific SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related, darker-green-coloured- and/or pluche-based, honorary-insignia also known as: 'Die Bolle'
This is a very attractive - and actually never before by me seen and surely rarely found! - specific SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related, darker-green-coloured- and/or pluche-based, honorary-insignia (ie. 'Ehrenzeichen') also known in German language as: 'Die Bolle' and that comes in a very nice and I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-, condition. The neat piece - that comprises of two pluche-based balls that come mounted onto a piece of twisted cord - was clearly used as such and does show some moderate age, wear- and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved condition and is void of any defaults (as can be seen on the pictures). This particular and rarely-seen piece of SA-insignia was found with various other SA-related cloth-insignia and was part of a grouping that was recently uncovered in the USA where it was brought after 1945 as a so-called: 'veteran-bringback'-lot. There is not much reference-material available concerning these neat pieces but I could find that these insgnia were exclusively worn by members of the Bavarian-based: 'SA-Jäger u. Schützen-Standarten' (and that it was a tradition that dated back from the period 1860-1886). Simply a nicely preserved - and most certainly rarely encountered! - 'SA-Ehrenzeichen' that belonged to an: 'SA-Mitglied' and that is I deem accordingly priced: I am pretty convinced that not many collectors have seen a similar insignia-piece before!
