Stunning, WH (Heeres) 'standard-pattern', field-grey-toned- and aluminium-based belt-buckle being a maker- (ie. 'P&C'-) marked- example that comes mounted onto its (1942 !-dated) leather-based tab

This a truly very nice preserved - actually rarely ie. very unusually encountered and I deem simply never worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'standard' early-pattern, field-grey-toned- and/or aluminium-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'P&C'- or: 'Paulmann & Crone'-) marked- example that comes mounted onto its leather-based (and differently (!) maker ie. 'St.Ortey - Marienberg' and/or: '1942'-dated-) tab and that comes in an overall wonderful ie. 'virtually mint'-, condition. The (most certainly early-period ie. pre-war-produced) buckle retains most (ie. truly almost all!) of its (typical) field-grey- (ie. olive-green-) coloured sprayed surface (just some tiny paint-loss-markings are noticable as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a shield-shaped 'P&C'- (or: 'Paulmann & Crone'-) stamp on its inside but came (most certainly!) period-mounted on its still souple - and of course still functional - brownish-coloured and genuine leather-based 'tab' that shows an impressed stamp of the producing-company (ie. 'St.Ortey - Marienberg') and the year of production '1942' (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that the 'St.Ortey'-company simply used an old, pre-war stock of by 'Paulmann & Crone'-produced buckles. The buckle - which also shows a very unusually impressed eagle- and/or swastika-device (as can be noticed on the pictures) might well be intended for usage by naval- ie. 'Kriegsmarine'-staff (something that would I deem merit further investigation). I deem that I have priced this truly 'minty' - and with certainty very unusually seen! - WH (Heeres) belt-buckle, accordingly!
