The attractive (reddish)-bronze-toned HJ ('Hitlerjugend'-) ie. DJ ('Deutsches Jungvolk'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The day-badge comes mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains all of its bright-toned, reddish-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a typical 'HJ-Raute' and clover-device coupled with the text: 'I. Banntreffen des Bannes & Jungbannes B24 - Fürth - 27.-29. April 1934'. The piece - which is as stated executed in copper- (ie. bronze-) toned 'pot-metal' - comes naturally mounted on its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice - and just minimally sub-dued - age-patina. The tinnie is totally void of a makers'-designation but does show some slightly bent sides (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - locally-issued, 'youth-related' tinnie that is I deem accordingly priced!
