Never before seen, greyish-silver-toned- (ie. typical 'zinc'-based) so-called: 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) (door?) plaque (ie. 'Plakette') showing a detailed RLB-logo coupled with the text: 'Blockwart'
This is an attractive - never before seen and with certainty not that often encountered! - greyish-silver-toned- (ie. typical 'zinc'-based) so-called: 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) (door?) plaque (ie. 'Plakette') showing a detailed RLB-logo coupled with the text: 'Blockwart' and that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The neat - medium-sized- and/or somewhat heavier-weight-piece that shows the D.R.L.-device (with swastika) on its front measures approximately 11,5 x 8 cms. and has pronounced detail as to be expected. It was I deem never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat matted- ie. frosted-) silverish-grey-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - 'Reichsluftschutzbund'- (ie. 'RLB'-) related plaque (ie. 'Plakette') that is I deem accordingly priced!
