Superb - and rarely found! - commemorative 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') 'Parteitag 1929' being a maker- (ie. 'Hoffstätter - Bonn'-) marked example that came together with its accompanying post-card as found

The attractive - and very early-period! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in typical tin- (ie. copper-based) metal: it shows some wear and/or moderate age (but was with certainty never cleaned nor polished) and came as recently found. The (tiny) shield-shaped badge - which shows a detailed helmet (with swastika), eagle-device and text that reads: 'Nürnberg - Parteitag 1929 - 1914-1929 - N.S.D.A.P.' - comes mounted on its functional pin-/catch set-up (which shows the clearly present makers'-designation: 'Hoffstätter - Bonn' and a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending marking) and shows some truly minimal age and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and has an immaculate, golden-bronze-coloured finish (that shows some darkened staining). The day-badge came together (and will be sold) with an accompanying period (and also scarcely found!) colourful post-card entitled: 'Parteitag der Nationalsozialisten - Nürnberg 1929' that shows an illustration of the offered badge as found and/or stored for decades. This card was never used and does show some minimal staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that this is a very desirable and early-period 'N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnie that was intended to commemorate the first 'N.S.D.A.P.-Parteitag' that was held in 1929. These early-period pieces saw much more limited usage than their later-period counterparts and can easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that I have priced this very attractive tinnie/postcard-set, accordingly!
