Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war period- (ie. 'M40 o. M43'-pattern) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs 3'
This is a truly very attractive - and/or fully matching and with certainty not that easily encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war period- (ie. 'M40 o. M43'-pattern) and neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as was piped in the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and I deem just moderately worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs 3' (or: NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within then anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer unit, numbered: '3') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,7 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or: field-grey-coloured- and woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have (as to be expected) the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured- and/or desirable, 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which come mounted onto their functional tongues attached - show as stated above only moderate usage and/or wear (some minor wear, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps - that came with a pair of field-grey-toned buttons attached (by means of specific rings) - show the ('standard-issue'-pattern) silverish-grey-coloured NCO-braid attached and show a fully matching pair of (silver-toned, smaller-sized and zinc-based) '3'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') and four (regular-sized, non-matching and equally-styled) pips period-attached. It should be noted that ALL NCO-pattern, 'Panzerjäger'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce' (even more so when they are neatly 'cyphered' as this pair on offer here). This particular pair - which is as stated above completely matching and that was most certainly worn as such as a pair - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-Panzerjäger-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs 3'!
