Commemorative, aluminium-based- and/or: silver-toned sports'- (ie. 'N.S.R.L.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate participation within the: '2. NSRL-Kreisfest - Werdau - 24/25.6.1939'
This is an attractive (molded) aluminium-based- and/or: silver-toned sports'- (ie. 'N.S.R.L.'- ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate participation within the: '2. NSRL-Kreisfest - Werdau - 24/25.6.1939' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem issued ie. just minimally worn-), condition. The square-shaped piece shows a monument (bearing 3 tiny swastikas) coupled with a detailed 'N.S.R.L.'-logo and text as mentioned above. The detailed and/or pronounced badge shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: truly all of its bright-silver-coloured finish has been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Otto Riedel - Zwickau Sa.' - comes naturally mounted onto its (functional-) pin- ie. catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - regional-issued, 'N.S.R.L.'-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
