This particular example - being as stated above a typical non-maker-marked, neatly silverish-toned- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'- (ie. 'Tombak'-) based specimen - has maintained an attractive (and somewhat shiny!) silverish-toned age-patina and comes naturally mounted onto its functional (thin-shaped- and/or also silver-toned) pin. The piece is very detailed and pronounced: it has - I deem - just been moderately used and does show some obvious age- and/or wear: it does show some minimal age and/or staining but was not recently cleaned or polished (it still retains a somewhat 'shiny-like' finish as can be seen on the pictures). The piece still shows truly great pronounced detail as to be expected. The war-badge shows a period-replaced- ie. repaired catch (which was somewhat crudely re-attached to the badge as can be noticed on the pictures). To date the specific maker (ie. 'Hersteller') of this (highly-detailed!) 'Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen' has not been determined (yet). Simply a very attractive - and actually not that easily found! - hollow-back, 'Buntmetall'- (ie. 'Tombak'-) based example that will be hard to be upgraded and that is I deem priced according to its period-repaired catch!
