Superb, typically printed- and/or later-war-period, bright-red- and/or black-coloured so-called: 'Deutscher Volkssturm'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit never used- nor worn-), condition
This is a very attractive - fully textbook and nowadays not that often seen! - example of a (typical) printed- and/or later-war-period, so-called: 'Deutscher Volkssturm'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being an example that is executed in slightly 'thicker-styled' cloth and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply never used- nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat armband - which saw usage by the last-ditch 'Wehrmacht'-troops of 1944/1945 - is executed on typical printed (and somewhat course-like) linnen and was simply never fully assembled nor stitched-together (as can be seen on the pictures). The armband measures approximately 42 x 6,5 cms. and shows very bright and vivid colours: it just shows some minimal storage-age only (ie. some wrinkles are noticable as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example bears a (double!) ink-stamp (ie. 'Dienstsiegel-Abdrück') on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a nice opportunity to acquire a never used- nor worn example of this scarcely seen 'variant-pattern'- and/or later-war-period VS-armband for a justified price: one of the nicest examples I had on offer for quite some time!
