'Standard-issue'-type, WH binoculars ie. 'Dienstglas 6 x 30' so-called: 'protective-cover' as executed in black-coloured 'Bakelite' that comes complete with its leather-based and/or full-length carrying-strap (ie. 'Tragelasche')
This is a little piece of WH-equipment that is often missing in an equipment-set-up: a 'standard-issue'-type, WH binoculars ie. 'Dienstglas 6 x 30' so-called: 'protective-cover' (as was specifically intended for usage on the standard-pattern, WH binoculars) being an example as executed in blackish-brown-coloured 'Bakelite' and that comes complete with its (full-length and still period-attached!) leather-based carrying-strap (ie. 'Tragelasche'). The 'protective-cover' retains both its undamaged, leather-based 'lashes' and is of course fully functional. It came with its its full-length and leather-based carrying-strap. The set - which is totally void of any makers'-designation as more often - also contains both (black-coloured and/or metal-based) snaps (as can be seen on the pictures). The set is as stated above just moderately used and shows some regular traces of wear: the piece is, however, totally undamaged and fully souple: it comes thus in a still fully functional condition. Simply a nice little piece of equipment that would surely look great if re-mounted on a pair of 6 x 30 (or even 10 x 50-type) binoculars: without doubt a very nice example of a fairly hard to find WH equipment-piece!
