The golden-bronze-toned badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in copper-coloured and so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains a fair bit of its golden-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a ('Schlageter'-related-) cross with with above the 'Reichsadler'-device and below that the text: 'Albert Leo Schlageters Denkmalsweihe - Porta Minden - 1933'. The piece - which is executed in copper- (ie. bronze-) toned 'pot-metal' - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice somewhat sub-dued age-patina. The tinnie bears a neat makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Wächtler & Lange - Mittweida'. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - early-period, N.S.D.A.P-related tinnie!
