Commemorative - and unusually seen! - tin-based, silver-toned: N.S.D.A.P.- (ie. 'Jugend-) related 'tinnie' showing a branch of oakleaves, a provincal-shield and swastika-device coupled with the text: '1100 Jahrfeier Castrop-Rauxel - Fest der Jugend'
The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silver-coloured- (ie. typical tin-based- and somewhat darker-toned) tin-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been truly nicely preserved. The shield-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' depicts a detailed illustration of a pair of oakleaves, provincal-shield and swastika-device coupled with the text: '1100 Jahrfeier Castrop-Rauxel - Fest der Jugend' but is unusually void of a years'-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is quite detailed and retains most of its fairly bright and/or: minimally tarnished silver-coloured finish. It should be noted that all tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a neat, N.S.D.A.P.- (ie. 'Jugend-) related 'tinnie' that is I deem accordingly priced!
