Attractive, silverish-toned: 'Deutscher Ski Verband'- (ie. 'D.S.V.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'D.S.V. Schwarzwald-Ski-Meisterschaft - Schonach - 1935'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - silverish-toned- (and I deem typical 'Eisenblech'-based) so-called: 'Deutscher Ski Verband'- (ie. 'D.S.V.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a sports-event entitled the: 'D.S.V. Schwarzwald-Ski-Meisterschaft - Schonach - 1935' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. This rectangular-shaped day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in somewhat tarnished, silver-toned- (and I deem typical 'Eisenblech'-based and neatly 'Brennlack'-finished) metal and shows shows a (detailed!) sportsman in ski-outfit coupled with a swastika-device, the: 'D.S.V.'- logo and text: 'D.S.V. Schwarzwald-Ski-Meisterschaft - Schonach - 1935'. The day-badge shows a clearly present makers'-designation-sticker on its back that reads: 'Deschler & Sohn - München 9' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece comes in an overall very nice (albeit I deem issued and/or minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - 'D.S.V.'-related, youth-related 'tinnie' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
