Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - darker reddish-bronze-toned HJ ('Hitlerjugend') related 'tinnie' being a clearly maker- (ie. 'S&L'-) marked example showing the text: '27. Mai 1934 - Oberbann-Aufmarsch - Dortmund'
The attractive darker (reddish)-bronze-toned day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The day-badge comes mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains all of its darker-toned, reddish-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a 'sun-burst-illustration' and HJ-related eagle-device (holding in its claws a sword) with below that the text: '27. Mai 1934 - Oberbann-Aufmarsch - Dortmund'. The piece - which is as stated executed in copper- (ie. bronze-) toned 'pot-metal' - comes naturally mounted on its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice somewhat sub-dued age-patina. The tinnie shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Steinhauer & Lück' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - locally-issued, 'youth-related' tinnie that is I deem accordingly priced!
