Superb - and actually very scarcely seen! - (typical) stainless-steel-based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Panzer'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Pz.Ers.Abt. 5'

This is a very attractive - and actually truly scarcely seen! - example of a bright-silver-coloured- and/or typical stainless-steel- (ie. 'Edelstahl'-) based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Panzer'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Pz.Ers.Abt. 5' (and that as such belonged to a tank-soldier (or NCO ie. officer) who served within the: 'Stammkompanie' of the: 'Panzer Ersatz-Abteilung 5' or: 'root'-company of the: tank-replacement-unit, numbered: '5'). The disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type 0') and shows a clearly stamped bearers-numeral that reads: '11942'. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a tiny bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered). Simply a truly attractive and honest WH (Heeres) ie. 'Panzer'-related ID-disc that belonged to a soldier serving with the: 'Pz.Ers.Abt. 5'!
