This is a very attractive - and truly very detailed and pronounced! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (or: destroyers'-war-badge) being a (typica) non-maker-marked- and/or 'high-quality'-produced example that is executed in golden- ie. silver-toned so-called: 'Buntmetall' that was (I deem) produced by the (desirable!) maker (ie. 'Hersteller') 'Otto Schickle' as was based in the town of Pforzheim and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem surely issued- albeit hardly worn- nor used-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge retains truly all of its bright, golden-toned finish and is executed in so-called: 'Buntmetall' (ie. 'Tombak') and comes of course mounted onto its fully unaltered- and functional (typically thin-shaped and neatly horizontally-mounted) pin and/or catch. The small-sized 'safety-hook' (mounted on the top of the badge as always) is also still present and in place. The ('high-quality'-produced) badge was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished and has truly extraordinary detail and a great untouched finish: it is just a tiny bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found. I deem that this beautifully preserved example is accordingly priced: it will be difficult to find a more attractive and fully untouched example for a more interesting price!
