This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very desirable! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Unteroffiziere der LW') as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Flieger- o. Fj-Abts. o. Rgts.' and that comes as clearly 'cut-off-a-tunic' ie. 'LW-Fliegerbluse'. The collar-tab is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and come still mounted onto its piece of collar: it does still show a piece of silver-toned NCO-braid and four (identical, typical aluminium-based) wings (ie. 'Schwingen') period-attached: as such, it was specifically intended for usage by an NCO who served within a: 'Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (as can be noticed from the pictures). It should, in any case, be noted that these attractive, clearly 'cut-off-a-tunic' insignia-pieces are very collectable and can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce' and are truly not that often offered for sale: I deem that this attractive specimen is accordingly priced!
