Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-type) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel einer Nachschub-Abteilungs'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) pre- (early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-type, rounded-styled and I deem typically tailor-made) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the bright-blue- (ie. 'hellblauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel einer Heeres Nachschub-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant who served within an army transport-unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat strap - which is of the typical early- ie. pre-war-type - just shows some moderate age and wear but is void of any real damage or alike: it has the darker-green-coloured- and/or (boiled)woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show as stated above the bright-blue- (ie. 'hellblauer'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping attached (as more often seen). The shoulderstrap comes mounted onto its functional tongue and does show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 10,2 cms. in length - shows the (typical) silverish-toned NCO-braid and a single ('Buntmetall'-based) pip period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'Heeres'-type NCO-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel einer Nachschub-Abteilungs': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
