Superb - and scarcely seen! - so-called: 'Freikorps'- (ie. 'Einwohnerwehr Chiem-Gau'-) related membership-pin- (ie.: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') showing an early-pattern: 'Einwohnerwehr'-device depicting a (detailed!) eagle-head and text: 'Chiem-Gau'
This is a very attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - so-called: 'Freikorps'- (ie. 'Einwohnerwehr Chiem-Gau'-) related membership-pin- (ie.: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') showing an early-pattern: 'Einwohnerwehr Chiem-Gau'-device (depicting a (detailed!) eagle-head and text: 'Chiem-Gau' and showing a cleary makers'-designation that reads: 'Deschler - München' and that came mounted onto its long-sized pin and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used-), condition. The piece is executed in silverish-golden-toned metal (I deem non-magnetic so-called: 'Buntmetall') and is truly very detailed and pronounced (as can be noticed on the pictures). These attractive Bavarian-related membership-pins- (ie.: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') were worn by the various volunteers during the period between 1919 and 1925. Simply a an attractive - and scarcely seen! - early-period piece of 'Freikorps'-related insignia: only the first such interesting 'Mitgliedsabzeichen' I ever had on offer!
