This is an attractive example of a silver-class: 'Polizei-Dienstauszeichnung 2. Stufe' (or: police loyal-service medal second class as was awarded for 18 years of loyal service within the various TR-police-services) and that came together with its (non-confectioned, truly longer-sized and scarcely found!) period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that came stored in its original (single-pieced) etui and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only minimally used- ie. never worn- nor mounted-), condition. The medal truly retains gorgeous details and is just minimally darkened ie. tarnished by age: it retains all of its 'off-factory' polished-sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The medal retains a great age patina overall (it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished). The award came togethere with its original, non-confectioned- (ie. approximately 28 cms. long- and/or: 3,7 cms. wide-sized) cornflower-blue-coloured ribbon that shows an (interwoven) silverish-white toned eagle-device as to be expected. The scarcely found, typical (darker) greenish-coloured (and carton-based) single-pieced etui comes in an overall nicely preserved - albeit clearly issued - condition. It shows a silver-toned (and fully undamaged) 'circle' with the number '18' (as can be seen on the pictures). The etui is totally undamaged but does show some minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nicely preserved - and/or fully complete! - 18-yrs. police loyal-service-medal-set: one of the nicest such second-class Polizei-award-sets I had on offer for quite some time!
