Superb - and fully matching! - pair of early- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Heeres) black woolen-based- and/or bright-pink-piped 'Panzer'-collar-tabs, each having an aluminium-based skull-device (ie. 'Totenkopf') period-attached
This is a truly attractive - fully matching and nowadays rarely found! - pair of (I deem) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-collar-tabs- (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für den Panzer-Truppen') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-, condition. Both tabs show the brownish-yellow-coloured- (and/or: typical 'buckram'-based) 'backings' and both show a neat (aluminium-based) skull-device (ie. 'Totenkopf'), period-attached: both skulls are still firmly attached onto the tabs and were with certainty period-attached onto the tabs: they both retain their original prongs. The pair - which has the neat (early- ie. mid-war-period-) silk-like-type- and/or bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured piping attached - comes in a clearly issued- and/or once tunic-attached, condition: the pair was with certainty once stitched onto a ('wrap-around') tunic and was carefully tunic-removed (it still shows some of the stitching-remains as can be seen on the pictures). As such, it would be an excellent pair to restore any black-coloured-, early- (ie. pre-) war-period 'Panzer' so-called: 'wrap-around'-tunic. This pair was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive, original early- (ie. mid-) war-period 'Panzer'-collar-tab-pair that can easily be graded 'rare' and that is nowadays almost impossible to encounter!
