Superb - and actually scarcely encountered! - piece of (I deem) N.S.D.A.P.-related arm-insignia being a so-called: 'Ehrenwinkel für Altgediente Kämpfer o. Angehörigen der N.S.D.A.P.' (or: honorary-chevron for old campaigners)
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - piece of (I deem) N.S.D.A.P.-related arm-insignia being a so-called: 'Ehrenwinkel für Altgediente Kämpfer o. Angehörigen der N.S.D.A.P.' (or: honorary-chevron for old campaigners) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem) simply never used- nor once tunic- ie. shirt-attached-, condition. These chevrons - which were worn on the upper left arm - were (I deem) worn by N.S.D.A.P.-party-members who had joined the party prior to 1 January 1933. The piece is constructed of a triangular-shaped piece of yellowish-brown-coloured linnen and shows a unusual double chevron attached (made out of specific silver-toned swastika-braid): it is, moreover, neatly backed with a piece of brownish-coloured and/or 'buckram'-based cloth as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a (hard-to-decypher) blue-toned and printed text (as can be noticed on the pictures). I could not find much reference-material on these interesting N.S.D.A.P.-chevrons. In any case is this a very nice - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - piece of N.S.D.A.P.-cloth-insignia: only the first such neat - and most certainly unusally encountered! - N.S.D.A.P.-honorary-chevron I ever had on offer!
