Interesting - and with certainty unusually seen! - TR-period, black-coloured- and/or linnen-based so-called: protective-cover (ie. 'Hülle') as was intended for storage of a: 'D.J.-Kriegsdienst-Karte' (or: specific DJ-ID-document- ie. card)
This is an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - example of a TR-period, black-coloured- and/or linnen-based so-called: protective-cover (ie. 'Hülle') as was intended for storage of a: 'D.J.-Kriegsdienst-Karte' (or: specific 'Deutsches Jungvolk'-related ID-document- ie. war identification-card) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or clearly worn-), condition. The neat and unusual piece - which is made-out of black-coloured- (and I deem carton- ie. linnen-based) material and that shows a beige-brown-toned interior with fully preserved 'mica'-based covers - measures 15,5 x 11,5 cms. and shows the golden-coloured (albeit faded), embossed wording that simply reads: 'DJ-Kriegsdienst-Karte' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The cover is a tiny bit stained ie. dusty caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear but is totally void of any (real) damage or alike. These neat little covers could be acquired by the youth-members in specialised-shops and/or canteens and were a much favoured personal-accesory. Simply a nice and unusually seen D.J.- ie. 'Deutsches Jungvolk'-related item that comes not that often for sale!
