Superb - fully matching and just moderately used! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-pink branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant u. Mitglied des 16. Panzer-Division'

This is an attractive - fully matching and just moderately used! - neatly 'cyphered', pair of officers'-type shoulderboards having the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a junior officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant u. Mitglied des 16. Panzer-Division' (or: lieutnant who served within the 16th tank-division) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or: carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards which measure both approximately 10,7 cms. sized in length and that are piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected show both a pair of neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or: smaller-sized) so-called: '1'- and/or: '6'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached denoting that the pair was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of: 'Leutnant'. All four devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. The boards - that shows some minimal usage- and/or wear - never had a tongue attached (it is atypical pair that was used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and do both show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). These boards could be used on the regular field-grey-coloured tunics but also saw usage onto the typical, black-coloured Panzer-type 'wrap-around'-tunics. The pair was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officer-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant u. Mitglied des 16. Panzer-Division'!
