Attractive, 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) mid-war-period produced: '7'- (ie. by 'Paul Meybauer'-) marked example that comes complete in its specific (and equally marked!) etui as issued and recently found

This is a truly attractive - and I deem just mininimally used- and/or worn! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) mid-war-period-produced and/or: '7'- (ie. by the maker: 'Paul Meybauer'-) marked example that comes complete in its specific (and equally nicely preserved!) etui as issued and/or recently found. The cross - which is non-vaulted ie. non-converse-shaped as more often - has most certainly never been cleaned and retains a superb age-patina and/or great pronounced detail: it is just a bit tarnished by age as more often. This example - which is an evident specimen as was produced by the: 'Paul Meybauer'-company as based in the town of Berlin - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up. The back of the cross is just minimally stained (but was never cleaned nor polished though). The (flute-shaped) pin and typical catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The etui comes also in a very fine and complete condition: the thin-shaped, silver-rimmed cross that figures on the etui's top is in a very nice and totally undamaged condition whereas the beige-white-coloured- and (simulated) velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does just show some minimal age and/or staining). The cross is - as stated above - an attractive example that was produced by the maker 'Paul Meybauer' as based in the town of Berlin (something that can of course easily be deducted by the makers'-designation '7' which is stamped onto the back of the pin as more often). The neat cross was never part of a collection and was recently found at a private-household in Germany. I deem that this attactive - totally matching and fully untouched! - IC-set by the 'Paul Meybauer'-company is accordingly priced!
