Superb, neatly enamelled (pre)WWI-period: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstorden der 4. Klasse mit Schwn.' being a very nicely preserved and/or: 'G.H. 950.'-marked example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, light-blue-coloured etui
This is a very attactive - and actually scarcely found! - example of a neatly enamelled, (pre)WWI-period so-called: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstorden der 4. Klasse mit Schwertern' being a very nicely preserved example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, light-blue-coloured etui and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and I deem only minimally worn- ie. used-), condition. The attractive award is also a nicely preserved example that retains all of its (tarnished) silver-toned finish and fully preserved and totally undamaged enamelled surface (as can be seen on the pictures) and came together with its period (non-confectioned- and/or folded) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') which is stored in the specific 'top-compartment' in the etui. The light-blue-coloured- and/or semi-leather-based etui comes also in a nice and moderately used condition: it retains a fully preserved beige-white-coloured- and/or felt-like interior in place (which does show some minimal age and/or staining as can be noticed on the pictures). The etui is void of a makers'-designation as more often. The top of the etui shows the (obligatory) silverish-coloured, imprinted text: 'Bayr. M.V.O. 4.Kl.' whereas the award itself shows a clearly-present (and very desirable!) makers'-designation on its right-lower arm that reads: 'G.H. 950.' (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstorden der 4. Klasse mit Schwertern'-medal-set accordingly!
