Superb - and hardly used! - typically non-maker-marked and/or regular-sized example of a pre-war-period, so-called: SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') copper- (ie. 'messing'-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften der Sturmabteilungen')
This is a very attractive - albeit unmarked and/or regular-sized - example of a pre-war-period, so-called: SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') copper- (ie. 'messing'-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften der Sturmabteilungen') that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly worn and/or totally uncleaned and/or untouched-), condition. The buckle - having a frosted-silver-toned 'front-plate' that shows a'regular-styled' swastika-device - shows some dust and/or minimal staining as acquired over the years but is truly very nicely preserved. The buckle is of the 'variant'-pattern- (ie. 'two-pieced'-construction) and was (luckily) not cleaned nor polished. The regular-sized piece is, however, void of any makers'-mark or logo (as is more often encountered) and shows nice and/or pronounced detail but also shows the obvious signs of having been truly worn (it is still a bit dusty as found and comes as stored for decades). The buckle orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive example of a 'standard-issue'-pattern SA-belt-buckle that is priced according to its hardly worn and/or fully untouched condition!
