This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (pointed-style) neatlty 'cyphered' (and/or per regulation non-piped ie. generic-styled!) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule' (or: sergeant first-class and presumably a trainer who served within a specific, artillery-related artician ie. exposives-orderly school) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap has a darker-green-coloured and (smooth) woolen-based 'upperdeck' as to be expected and shows (as per regulation) no piping (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap comes mounted onto its functional tongue attached and measures approximately 12 cms. in length. And shows the 'standard'-pattern, (bright) silver-toned NCO-braid, attached. Moreover, does it show a neat (aluminium-based', larger-sized and bright silver-toned) so-called: 'FS'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and two equally-styled (smaller-sized) pips period attached. All three devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) 'Feuerwerkerschule'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule'!
