Superb - and I deem fairly early-pattern! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'Fliegerschützen-Abzeichen mit Blitzbündel' being a non-maker-marked and/or: 'Buntmetall'- (ie. 'Tombak'-) based example as was (I deem) produced by the 'Assmann & Söhne'-company
The truly very attractive - and I deem fairly early-war-period pattern- and/or truly very detailed! - WH (Luftwaffe) war-badge ie. 'Fliegerschützen-Abzeichen mit Blitzbündel' (or: air-gunners-badge with lightning bolts) has in my opinion only moderately been worn and comes naturally mounted onto its fully functional (and totally unaltered!) pin- and/or: original (ie. fully unaltered- and/or typical 'Assmann'-type-) catch and/or pin (set-up). This example - which has been only moderately used and/or worn - shows very nice and/or pronounced detail overall and was clearly worn as such. The neat badge has a very attractive age-patina and retains all of its original, typical silverish-coloured and/or minimally 'tarnished' finish: it is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained (but has not been cleaned ie. polished over the years as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, is the badge a non-maker-marked example that is with certainty an early-war-produced war-badge that was (I deem) produced by the desirable maker: 'Assmann & Söhne' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid. The piece - which shows two totally unaltered and functional rivets - originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. It should be noted that these attractive - and truly high-quality produced! - 'Fliegerschützen-Abzeichen mit Blitzbündel'-awards as produced by the 'Assmann'-company can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce'!
