Attractive - and with certainty not that easily found! - aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: 'H.Gr.S.' and that comes mounted onto its period-cord as issued
This is an attractive - and with certainty truly scarcely found! - example of a bright-silver-coloured- (and/or typical aluminium-based) WH (Heeres) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its period cord as worn and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'H.Gr.S.' (and that was I deem as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within a staff-unit belonging to the: 'Heeres Gruppe Süd') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc that comes mounted onto its period-cord shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type 0') something that is more often but not always observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes as issued and worn. The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
