This is an attractive example of a greyish-silver-coloured- (and/or typical zinc-based) WH- (Heeres) ie. 'Schützen'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '1.Sch.Ers.Kp. 68' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier (or: NCO) who served within the: first-company of the replacement, 'Schützen'-related unit numbered: '68' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall very nice condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc also shows the soldiers'-blood-group-type (Type '0') (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres-) ie. 'Schützen'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
