This is a neat - and complete! - WH (Heeres etc.) soldiers'-type, aluminium-based eating-utensils-set (ie. so-called: 'Göffel') being a nicely maker- (ie. 'LGK&F'-) marked and/or: '1940'-dated example that comes in an overall nice albeit moderately used, condition. These pieces were most times referred to as: 'Göffel' (which is a combination of the German words 'Gabel' (= fork) and/or 'Löffel' (= spoon) and saw wide-spread usage within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. The set on offer here - which is as stated above constructed from light-weight metal (ie. aluminium) - is neatly maker-marked with the makers'-designation- ie. abbreviation: 'LGK&F 40'and is naturally fully functional. It came as recently found at a German private-household and was without doubt used after the war as a useful piece of camping-gear. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat piece of personal equipment: ideal to be stored in a soldiers'-bread-bag (ie. 'Brotbeutel')!
