Attractive, 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry-assault-badge ie. IAB) being a non-maker-marked, 'Feinzink'-based so-called: 'hollow-back'-example as was produced by the: 'Otto Schickle'-company
This is a an attractive - albeit issued and/or moderately used- and/or worn - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry-assault-badge ie. IAB) being a (typical) non-maker-marked, so-called: 'hollow-back'- and/or silver-toned, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was (I deem) produced by the: 'Otto Schickle'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem surely issued albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. This example is a non-maker-marked award and shows the various characteristics as only seen on IABs as produced by the: 'Otto Schickle'-company. The - very pronounced! - 'hollow-back'-pattern war-badge seems to be totally uncleaned and has a still a very attractive and only minimally tarnished age-patina: truly most of its period-applied silver-toned finish has been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The period pin and/or catch (ie. set-up-) are of course fully functional and present. The piece - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found - was never cleaned and has simply been nicely preserved over the years. Simply a very attractive silvered 'Feinzink'-based, 'hollow-back'-pattern IAB as was produced the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Otto Schickle'-company and that is - I deem - priced according to its very nicely preserved and just moderately used condition!
