This is an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - example of a WH-related, so-called: 'Azad Hind - Goldene Tapferkeits-Medaille mit Schwerten' (or: 'Azad Hind' golden-class service-medal for shown bravery with swords) being a typical non-maker-marked- and/or: 'Feinzink'-based example that comes mounted onto its period-attached ribbon ('Bandabschnitt') as found and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem moderately used ie. worn-) condition. The exampe on offer here is of the golden-class with swords that has lost most of its golden-bronze-toned finish (as is more often encoutered). The award was never been cleaned nor polished but has lost most of its (once golden-toned) finish: this colour has just 'faded-away' over the years (ie. has 'migriert'): the award, however, still retains great pronounced detail (it is just a tiny bit tarnished- ie. dirty as to be expected but was never cleaned nor polished as can be seen on the pictures). The typical (bright-orange- and light-green-coloured) ribbon shows some moderate age and has minimally faded over the years. These interesting TR-period awards were issued ie. awarded by the provisional Indian government (ie. 'Provisorischen Regierung Freies Indien') in the years 1942-1945. It should be noted that I have seen similar examples being sold for much more than my asking-price. Simply a very attractive 'Ostvölker'-related award that comes not that often for sale!
